Nancy Merz Nordstrom, M. Ed., is the former Director of the Elderhostel Institute Network, North America's largest educational organization for older adults. She provided resources and facilitated communication among more than 300 Lifelong Learning Institutes across the US and Canada, and developed links between these programs and similar programs in Europe, Australia, Japan, and New Zealand. She has been interviewed extensively about the learning-in-retirement movement by the media, including the Wall Street Journal, the Boston Globe, the Washington Post, and CNN. She lives in Bridgewater, NH, near Concord.
Jon F. Merz has been a professional writer of magazine features, ad copy, newspaper columns, and fiction since 1994. He lives in Medfield, MA, near Boston.
