Ordering
Online
To order books through our secure online server, just follow
these simple steps:
- To
add a selection to your order, click the Add to Shopping
Cart button on the item's catalog page.
- This
takes you to the shopping cart, where you can then continue
shopping or complete your order.
- If
you continue shopping, when you're finished shopping, click
the View Shopping Cart button.
- Review
your purchases, and when you're satisfied, click the Continue
button.
- Complete
the online order form.
- Review
your order summary, make sure you have entered essential
information such as: credit card number, shipping street
address with zip code, phone number, and e-mail.
- Click
on the Continue button to complete the order.
Order
information submitted through this site will be securely transmitted
to Sentient Publications.

Shipping
When ordering books, audio tapes and videos from within the
U.S., shipping is free via USPS Media Mail. You can expect to receive your order
within 7 to 14 days. Expedited shipping (FedEx or Priority Mail) is also available at the rate of $4.00 for the first item and each additional item is $1.00. Items shipping via expedited shipping usually arrive several days earlier than those shipped via Media Mail.
When
ordering books, audio tapes and videos from Canada,
shipping is $4.00 for the first item and each additional item
is $2.00. Priority Mail shipping is $7.00 for the first item and $3.00 for each additional item.
When
ordering books, audio tapes and videos from Europe,
shipping is $7.00 for the first item and each additional item
is $4.00. Priority Mail shipping is $9.00 for the first item and $5.00 for each additional item.
When
ordering books, audio tapes and videos from anywhere else,
shipping is $9.00 for the first item and each additional item
is $5.00.
Media Mail shipping for any of our collections is free in the US . We charge $6 per collection for Priority Mail shipping within the US . Shipping outside of the US is $15 to $25 per collection, depending on which collection you order. See the Special Collections page for details.
Payment
All orders must be accompanied by payment. Colorado residents
will be charged sales tax. We accept checks, money orders,
and the following credit cards: VISA, MasterCard, American
Express, and Discover. Online orders may only be completed
by credit card. When using a credit card be sure to provide
your name as it appears on the card, the full card number,
expiration date, and a telephone number. If you are ordering
via mail, checks and money orders are accepted, and should
be made out to Sentient Publications. For orders placed through
the mail, we do not accept cash. Please remember to include
your order form with payment.
Customer Service, Returns and Refunds
Within 30 days of your order shipping date (on packing slip),
you may return any of the following items you purchased from
Sentient Publications, for any reason, for a full refund (we'll
also refund the shipping cost if the return is a result of
our error): any book in its original condition; any unopened
(still in its plastic wrap) CD, DVD, cassette tape, or VHS
tape. We cannot accept returns of opened
items or items returned more than 30 days after the ship date.
