SUBMISSION
GUIDELINES
Thank
you for your interest in Sentient Publications, LLC. We are
an independent press with a focus on cultural creativity,
experimental education, new consciousness and transformative
spirituality, holistic health, science and ecology, approached
from an integral viewpoint.
Our
authors are intensely interested in exploring the nature of
life from fresh perspectives, addressing life's great questions
and fostering the full expression of the human potential.
Sentient Publications' books arise from the spirit of inquiry
and the richness of the inherent dialogue between writer and
reader.
We do NOT
publish poetry or children's literature.
To
have your work considered for publication, send us a short
proposal and two to three sample chapters of your book. The
proposal should include: the main theme of the book, an outline,
your sources of information, and your marketing research and
your bio including why you are qualified to write this book.
The sample chapters should be in standard manuscript format:
double-spaced with one-inch margins and numbered pages. Send
only copies of photographs or drawings; do not send originals.
Always include an SASE for our response. We will not respond
if we don't have this envelope.
If
you want your material returned, please send return postage
and packaging with your manuscript. If postage and packaging
are not included, we assume that you do not want your materials
returned and we will dispose of them.
We
have a large number of manuscripts submitted to us. Because
of that, we ask that you do not telephone regarding your manuscript.
We try to complete the review process within eight weeks.
